Certified in Canadian Equine Massage Therapy - Based in Calgary, I strive to help horses move, perform, feel and be their best by providing breathwork, massage and stretching to your beloved equines. Massage therapy has many benefits - it increases circulation, improves comfort, increases joint ROM and flexibility, accelerates recovery time post-exercise, reduces scar tissue formation, improves mental health and the overall wellbeing of your horse. Keeping muscles supple, which also keeps joints smooth and flexible is the best way to prevent injury. Smooth operating tissues/muscles/joints are essential to the reduction of compensatory mechanisms from arising and to also create maximum shock absorption to avoid any injuries from concussive forces.

I recommend that horses that are working 3+ times a week should be on a 4-week massage schedule. Consistency in a massage schedule is important to maintain for the best health of your horse.

Each session runs between 60 min to 90 min in length. I start off each session with a health check which includes grooming, hoof cleaning, checking gut and heart sounds and assessing your horse. I then work on the areas either you or your horse indicates as concerns.

I’m currently offering an Introductory Special of $109 per session (regularly priced at $139)

MULTI-HORSE DISCOUNT

2 horses (60-minute massages) - $95 each

3 horses (60-minute massages) - $90 each

4+ horses (60-minute massages) - $85 each

All pricing includes GST

A travel fee will also be charged:

0-25 km - no charge

26-55 km - $30 flat fee

56+ km - $50 flat fee

Cancellation Policy

Any appointments not cancelled within 24hrs will be subject to cancellation fees. Multiple services (two or more horses) require 48hrs cancellation notice.

Cancellation fees are as follows:

-Cancellation with less than 24hrs notice (48hrs for two or more horses) is the full session fee.

I understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of Balanced Strides Inc.
